It is supplied ready for use and when dry hardens to form a tough durable coating that can be overcoated. Zinc 182 is a highly effective rust inhibiting primer. It can be applied to all ferrous metal surfaces provided the loose rust is removed. Complete removal of all rust will improve its effectiveness. The hardened Zinc 182 forms a tough durable surface onto which paint can be applied.
